A series of dresses designed and machine sewn. The fabrics were created with hand-drawn resist, painted and sprayed with procion dyes on silk broadcloth. The designs were inspired by looking-down for street potholes while riding my bicycle from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal (at South Ferry) to my 7th Avenue/28th Street art studio each day. (1982-1985)
